Chamber of Commerce - Senior of the Month

Congratulations to Apalachee High School seniors Ryan Rudell and Charly Rudell on being named Barrow County Chamber of Commerce Seniors of the Month!

Ryan Rudell was recognized as the September 2026 Senior of the Month, while Charly Rudell earned the October 2026 Senior of the Month honor.

Ryan currently ranks 9th in her graduating class with an impressive 103.25 weighted GPA while challenging herself with numerous Advanced Placement courses. She is actively involved in DECA, Student Council, softball, track and field, Spanish National Honor Society, Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, and Youth Leadership Barrow. Ryan also serves as a wrestling manager and participates in work-based learning through Chee Corner Store. Her accomplishments include recognition as an AP Scholar and Scholar Athlete, along with an 11th-place finish at the state DECA Hospitality and Tourism competition. After graduation, Ryan plans to attend college and continue exploring her academic interests. 

Charly currently ranks 20th in her graduating class with an outstanding 101.6 weighted GPA and a perfect 4.0 unweighted GPA. Throughout high school, she has challenged herself by completing 12 Advanced Placement courses while excelling in athletics and extracurricular activities. A dedicated member of the softball and track and field teams, Charly has earned recognition as an AP Scholar, three-time Scholar Athlete, All-Region Academic Team member, Coca-Cola Award recipient, and Apalachee’s Student Athlete of the Month for April 2025. Beyond athletics, she is actively involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, HOSA, Youth Leadership Barrow, and Spanish National Honor Society. After graduation, Charly plans to attend college, continue playing softball, and pursue a pre-medical course of study with the ultimate goal of becoming a physician.
